Aruba Glass Bottom Boat Tour Price Guide (2026)

Prices for underwater viewing tours in Aruba are all over the place, mostly because people compare very different trips. Here’s what you’re actually paying for.
Clear boat prices
| Option | Price | Group |
|---|---|---|
| Clear boat tour | $60 per person | 5 to 10 guests |
| Private charter | $600 for the boat | Up to 10 guests |
Both are 1.5 hours with the same three stops: the Antilla shipwreck, Boca Catalina and Tres Trapi. Snorkel gear, life jackets, water and soda are included in both.
When the private charter makes sense
Do the math on your group size. At $60 a head, 10 people is $600, the same as chartering the whole boat. So if you’re 9 or 10, book private: same price or close to it, and the boat is yours. For a group of 6 to 8 you pay a little more for the charter, but you get the boat to yourselves and pick your own departure.
How payment works
You pay a $10 per person deposit online to lock in your spot. The rest is paid on the day. The deposit is non-refundable, so pick your date with care.
How it compares
Glass-sided tour boats on the island are listed in the mid $50s for adults at the time of writing. Clear kayak tours tend to run $70 to $80 for around two hours. Semi-submarine and submarine trips cost more. The clear boat sits in the middle on price, and it’s the only one of these that combines the view through the floor with snorkeling at the turtle spot and the wreck.
Example group costs
| Group size | Per-person tour | Private charter | Deposit to book |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 guests | $300 | $600 | $50 |
| 6 guests | $360 | $600 | $60 |
| 8 guests | $480 | $600 | $80 |
| 10 guests | $600 | $600 | $100 |
The deposit is $10 per person and is non-refundable. Everything else is paid on the day.
What’s not extra
Some tours quote a low price and then charge for gear or drinks. Here, snorkel equipment, life jackets, bottled water and soda are all included. The only thing you might add is a taxi to the meeting point and a tip for the captain if you had a great time.
Groups of fewer than 5
The per-person tour has a minimum of 5 guests. If you’re a couple or a family of 4, you can still book the private charter, or reach out and we’ll let you know if there’s a departure you can join.
Is it cheaper to book here or on a big booking site?
Big platforms often add their own fees on top. Booking direct means you see the real price up front, pay a small deposit to hold your spot, and settle the rest on the day.
